Sydni's 7 Month Pictures & My Pretty Valentine's Flowers

Our sweet Sydni turned 7 months old today. I remember this being a really fun time with Dane, and it has been no less fun with Sydni. This morning, I think she knew that I was going to take her picture today because she woke up even happier than usual, and her usual is very happy. We just have so much fun smiling with her.

This month, Sydni has spent her time doing the following things:

- Of course, she's smiling all the time. She's such a pleasant presence around the house.
- She can now jump with all of her might in her jumperoo.
- She started army crawling about 2 weeks ago, so she can now get around wherever she wants.
- Last week, she started getting herself into a sitting position from laying on her tummy. That just blows my mind every time I catch her doing it. It's so amazing how they learn things.
- Her hair is starting to fill in a little bit. I'm still not sure what color it is-It's either strawberry blonde or dark blonde. I'm sure we'll find out someday.
- She's starting to babble some. Dane always babbled from very early on (and he still does), so she seems to be a much quieter baby. She is very calm most of the time. It's so funny to see she and Dane interact-he is very good entertainment for her, and he's very sweet to her.
- She is eating really well. In addition to her formula, she has started eating solids very well. She really doesn't like baby food, though, but she will eat smushed up fruits and veggies. I think it's a texture thing, the baby food is just so pureed, I think.
- This month, she has started sitting and playing with toys. She really likes her Elefun elephant that sings, and her barnyard activity toy that does lots of different things. And, she also loves to try to get a hold of her brother's Transformers, which causes him such great anxiety. He is so particular about his toys, especially his Transformers, and he just gets so worried that she'll mess them up.
- She now reaches her arms out when she wants someone to hold her, which is really sweet, too.

I guess that's about it for this month's report.

Other than that, we're just staying busy, as usual, but doing good. I will try to do a better job of blogging this next month. So, here's some more pictures to enjoy!

Oh, yeah! My sweet husband and daddy both got me some beautiful flowers for Valentine's Day, so I combined them together, and I just thought I'd share how pretty they are!
