Just catching up!

We have been so busy this month, so it's been a while since my last blog. Dane has kept busy lately, and he just keeps on growing so fast. My little boy isn't a baby anymore. It's exciting to see him grow and develop his own interests and personality. I thought I would just post pictures today from all of the stages in his life. I hope that he is able to read this someday and be able to tell how very special he is to us and what a joy he brings to us everyday. Lane and I have always called Dane our "buddy", and our life has been brightened so much by God giving us our little buddy!

Dane's First Haircut!

Before...

and After.

Well, today was the day! We have had too many people tell us lately that we have such a beautiful little girl, so we took the hint and scheduled Dane his first haircut. One of our friends from church, Tyler Boaze, works at a salon here in town, so we took him there to have her cut his hair. For the most part, he was really good. He didn't cry, but he sure wasn't very still for her. We also discovered that, just like his father and grandfather, he doesn't have just one cowlick, but he has three! He is definitely a Brown through and through. He really liked the sound of the hairdryers there and would make sounds like them whenever he heard one. Tyler was so sweet to him, and she did a great job!

After we left the salon, we headed to Sonic to get Dane a drink to celebrate the occasion. We had a really fun time!

I hope you enjoy the pictures!
